Natural Park
of Porto
Selvaggio
Porto Selvaggio has 3 areas of interest, Palude del Capitano ("The Captain Swamp"), Uluzzo Torre, Torre Inserraglio spread over about 2,500 acres, with segments of extra interest in prehistoric archaeological and palaeontological matters. Situated near Salento, Lecce it is a beautiful pine forest area with lots of local wildlife and great for a picnic.

This huge park (over 300,000 acres) covers the mountain of Gargano and virtually the whole peninsula, with it's slopes and valleys, with forests of beech, pine and oak trees right down to the coast. Situated north east of Foggia, at this size you can hardly miss it! There is so much to see and do, take your time and enjoy yourself.

Park
Located a few miles north west of Brindisi, with nearly 3,000 acres of land and marine reserve to visit, this is a place for coast lovers. From the beautiful dunes take a swim in the clear seas and see the varying sea floors including coral. Along the coast and are typical Mediterranean wetlands (fed by fresh water springs) stretching inland to agricultural fields.
